Robert Emmett Fitzsimmons, who goes by "Emmett", is a former member of the NYPD police officer who has appeared in a number of films and television series. He was awarded the "Combat Cross" by the Mayor of the City Of New York for acts of extraordinary heroism while engaged in armed personal combat with armed adversaries under circumstances of imminent personal hazard to life.
Fitzsimmons is a member of SAG and AFTRA and has worked directly opposite; Josh Brolin, Frank Langella, Jeffrey Donovan, Larry Hagman, McLean Stevenson, Jack Scalia, Frank Gorshin, Christopher Walken, Daniel Hugh Kelly, Michael J. Fitzsimmons was awarded "Best Short Film Made in Florida Competition" at the Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival for the Confession a story he wrote, produced and directed. He is currently working as a freelance Producer, Production Manager and has numerous projects in various stages of development. Fitzsimmons continues to perform both in film, television and theater.
